Other Details to Note

1.) Check-in is at 4pm Check-out at 10am 2.) Starter pack We provide a starter pack of the items below. - Dish soap - Laundry detergent and dryer sheets - Starter rolls of toilet paper/paper towels - Flour/sugar/coffee/crm/cooking oils - Spices - Starter trash bag You may need to bring more of these items depending on the length of your stay 3.) We provide smart TVs to stream your favorite shows 4.) Hot tub is professionally cleaned before and after each guest 5.) 7 steps to reach front door, but otherwise very easy mobility around space 6.) No smoking or vaping in the chalet 7.) We are surrounded by trees. While this is peaceful, it does mean you will encounter bugs, insects, spiders, leaves, pollen, small twigs. Pollen and leaves will settle on outdoor furniture and decking. After rain, outdoor cushions will be wet. During the colder months, small wildlife critters (such as mice) may attempt to reach warmth inside the chalet. Nature tries to make itself cozy. While the house is professionally cleaned, keep in mind the house is still a mountain chalet amongst nature and wildlife. 8.) 4 wheel drive recommended during some winter months based on weather. Even though roads are plowed, there are times when driving may be dangerous during winter storms. For your peace of mind, we recommend purchasing the trip insurance offered during reservation, as we are unable to provide refunds for weather-related events, road conditions, or power outages during inclement weather. During winter months, 4-wheel drive and/or chains are recommended for safe travel. Thank you for understanding! 9.) Large driveway. Trailers, car haulers and campers welcome. 10.) In extreme cold weather, the hot tub is designed to maintain a cozy temperature between 100°F and 104°F when the cover is on. However, when the cover is off, the water temperature will naturally drop 5 degrees per hour due to exposure to the cold air. This is completely normal and part of how hot tubs work! To keep the water warm for your enjoyment, we recommend limiting the time the cover is off when the tub is not in use 11.) Bears Galore! Lock your car doors. Bears will open your car doors if not locked. Don't feed the bears. Keeping them wild helps keep them alive 12.) After booking, guests will be required to complete a short rental agreement for insurance, safety, and local compliance purposes. This includes providing the primary guest’s full legal name, contact information, permanent mailing address, and government-issued ID. This requirement applies to all guests equally and helps us ensure a safe and well-maintained stay for everyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Amy’s place! The space was clean, well-organized, and exactly as described in the listing. Amy was an incredible host—very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the little extra touches throughout the home made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

everything was clean and easy to use. check in and out require minimal effort. the location was GORGEOUS and a bit off the beaten path, but there are lots of other houses nearby. you are 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 30 from Dollywood. LOVELY drives too.

Amy was a great host. The location is private and tucked away in the smokey mountains. The whole theme of the house is mountain log cabin. Also the hot tub is perfect.

Incredible home very close to Gatlinburg. We appreciated the easy to use keypad to get in and easily lock when we left to enjoy the Gatlinburg area. Home is stocked with the essentials and necessary items to enjoy travel that feels like a home. We loved the hot tub and outdoor tv. Access to the dog crate so that we didn’t have to bring our own. Detailed communications were also appreciated!
